The Dance

This scene is my attempt to convey the sights, sounds, and emotions of African Lions courting and mating. The sound is unbelievable,one I will never forget, growls and purrs that echo thru the bush. The emotions are high and to the casual viewer you would think one minute they really like each other and the next they really don't. The male has to uncouple and get away before being smashed in the face by the female and moments later she is rubbing and nudging him affectionately. This process goes on for hours and hours, it's a truly awesome sight!
