Begonia hispida var. cucullifera

Begonia hispida var. cucullifera is sometimes called the “Piggyback Begonia” because of the small leaf-like growths that come out of the upper leaf surface. The medium green leaves are also covered front and back with tiny white hairs. This is a shrub-like begonia which has a bushy growth habit. It has white flowers in the early summer.
