'59 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS - Dirty Lemon
Imagine a burst with no burst. Un-burst. Burst less. Like a fresh tart lemon dropped on an old concrete floor. The perfect guitar for your rendition of the Lemon Song. Well, we happen to have one. Bursts of the late 50's were prone to fading rather quickly, and in 1960 Gibson started using a different red that retained its saturation much better. This is a nod to the ones that got left in the sun. Even the color of the back looks faded, completing the vintage vibe. Beautiful wood selection for the mahogany slab body, book matched maple cap, and rosewood fingerboard. With no chambering, this one is very pleasant to wear at only 8.5 lbs. Just don't play too many mid afternoon outdoor sets as you don't want this one to get sunburnt.
