1997 Custom 24 - Amber Burst Moon Inlay

In 1996, PRS moved into a new and larger building on Kent Island.  In 1997, PRS used some mahogany and curly maple, and whipped up this guitar.  Featuring a one piece lightly figured mahogany body, a carved curly maple top, and a quarter-sawn mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard.  Coming in at 8 pounds even, it's a great balance between the comfort of a light guitar and the tone of a heavier guitar.  5-way rotary switch gives plenty of tonal variety, and you can fool your friends as it gives the illusion of no pickup switch!
