Natural Gourd

This is a natural gourd that has been cleaned and gutted. I used ink dyes in terra cotta, and turquoise. The rim of the gourd is adorned with natural acorn caps. I dyed the inside of each acorn cap with metallic gold and copper, as well as turquoise. Each cap has been stitched to the gourd and accented with a small bead.This gourd measures: 7" high 7" diameter 24" circumference
