Description (More pics below)This is a 2002 Fender Jimmie Vaughan Strat in Olympic White with gold anodized metal pickguard. Really nice playing Strat. (Watch people claiming to have a 1996/97 JV. The dates on these need to be verified in the neck pocket, NOT by serial number. True early models will have an 8-screw pickguard.) ConditionCosmetically this Strat is very clean for a 22-year-vintage instrument. You can find a couple small areas where the Oly white is starting to yellow a bit (tried to show in pics), but it’s minor. Beyond that a few very small marks. Frets are in very good condition, some mild wear, no grooves showing. Pickguard upgraded to an 8-hole metal anodized bronze. Bridge pickup changed to another flavor of Fender pickup with higher output.Features— Alder body, maple neck — 9.5” radius, chunky soft V neck w/ medium frets — 6-saddle American Synchronized TremoloSound & PlayabilityThis Strat feels amazing in the hands.
