Botanical Mamezara Plate Set

This is a set of 5 mamezara plates, each inspired by a different flower: cosmos, hydrangea, poppy, dandelion, and anemone. These geometric patterns are dark blue on a white background with gold detailing.  Mamezara are small plates commonly for serving condiments and side dishes in Japan. The name translates to "bean plate" and reflects its tiny size. Made by Kiraha in Arita, a southern Japanese town that has been making fine porcelain products for over 400 years. Kihara mixes traditional techniques with modern methods, resulting in high quality porcelain for all occasions. Porcelain H:0.59" x D:3.34" Made in Japan.
