By repeatedly pre-washing the wool yarn, Nishiguchi Kutsushita made these wool jacquard socks almost completely shrink proof. The carefully selected yarn, combined with the jacquard knit, make these socks extra plush  and cozy.  Sizes S (36-40), Medium (40-44) and Large (44-48) available - pick from drop down menu. Please note that in our experience, women commonly pick S or M depending on their shoe size, and this Wool Jacquard style sizes a bit smaller than other styles by the same brand.  93% wool, 6% nylon,  1% elastane  Made in Japan in a 3rd generation sock factory. Nishigushi Kutsushita  (Knitwin Co.)  started in 1950, shortly after the war, with one hand-knitting machine.  They now have 130 machines in operation and work with a team of craftsmen that ranges from 50 years of  experience to younger employees who they hope will lead the company into its future.
