This White and blue logo ringer tee was released while the band was on tour promoting their major label debut, the "Blue Album," as it is referred to by its die-hard fans. This Compact disk came out during the "Alternative movement." They were part of a time when Nirvana and Hole ruled the airwaves. Although they were classified as Alternative Rock, "Weezer" was different. They were one of the first mainstream bands to foreshadow the burgeoning indie-rock scene and introduce the indie-rock look. Worn by Rivers Cuomo's I: E, his black glasses and slacker look to the masses. When "Weezer" arrived, all the bands they were lumped in with had long hair and wore Cardigans. They set the stage for the look and sound of music's future, a look still popular today; thank you, Weezer (who doesn't like a pair of Black glasses)."
