Lesbian Pride Flag 48" Parasol

This pretty little 48" parasol features the lesbian pride flag colors: dark pink, light pink, white, light orange, dark orange. This flag was proposed in 2018 by a Medium article and won the overall vote as a Lesbian Pride Flag For Everyone. In this creation I've used a custom colorway of 100% cotton yarn that is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified for sustainable practices in growing, harvesting, processing, and dyeing. Cotton is an incredibly dirty crop and while even OEKO-TEX methods aren't perfect, they are better. This pattern is by Ira Rott and if you'd like to attempt to make a parasol, I highly recommend patterns by Ira Rott because they'll help you learn to read charted crochet.    I've attempted to show both light and dark backgrounds with these pictures and I took these with natural light indoors. The software I use to take these pictures sometimes fills in the empty spaces of the mandala with white, grey, or black, but I assure you there is only empty space between crochet stit
