Tasting Notes: Cherry, Warm Brownies, Sparkly Lights, Pecan The holidays are upon us! Our snowbird holiday blend is back! This year we have a cozy medium blend made up of two incredible Guatemalan coffees you’re familiar with if you’ve enjoyed our coffees before. Snowbird is a familiar and delicious cup made of equal parts Guatemala La Colina from the incredible efforts of Tony Medina and Guatemala Family Blend from 15 producers based around San Antonio Huista, Huehuetenango.  The blended varietals from Huehuetenango bring out the sweet, malty, warm brownie and almond notes while the bourbon and caturra combination from Antonio Medina showcases the lighter, fruit characteristics and cherry notes.  This past fall season we sent $1 from every bag of Lookout to our friends at the Colby Mountain Project via Chico Velo… this holiday season we want to help in a small way and draw awareness to the lack of access many families have to good food in our neighborhoods.
