At 3 1/4'' diameter means they are larger than the acrylic ornaments. Glass ornaments have no seam on the bulb itself, but our photo ornaments are produced by printing onto a clear band which is seamed, then affixed onto the ornaments. This means there is a seam on the plastic band, (which is affixed the glass ornament) but no seam on the glass ornament itself.
