Botanical Name - Eupatorium perfoliatum Other Names - feverwort, genus eupatorium, agueweed Origin - USA The tannins and alkaloids in boneset lend astringent properties suitable for various topical applications. Preparation Methods & Dosage :Whole herb in capsules, teas, and tinctures. Boneset tea is very bitter. Packaging - We package all of our herbal, fruit powders and spices in a heat sealed mylar bag which serves as a very effective barrier to light, oxygen, odors, flavors, moisture, and bacteria. The bag can be resealed with any household iron or curling iron. Precautions - Toxic in high doses. Do not use during pregnancy or if you have a known allergy to plants in the daisy family. Consumption of large amounts can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Those allergic to chamomile, feverfew, or ragwort should not use.
