Botanical Name - Eucalyptus globulus Other Names - ribbon gum, shining gum, Australian fever tree Origin - India Typical Preparations - Facial or hydro-steams, aromatherapy, and teas. Some uses may include encapsulation or extracts Dried eucalyptus leaf is used to make infused oils, salves or chest rubs and other topical preparations. The dried leaf is also used in facial steam baths and herb pillows. Infuse in hot water for use in natural household cleaners. The leaf also yields a natural dye. Use in potpourri mixes and herbal sachets. Packaging - We package all of our herbal, fruit powders and spices in a heat sealed mylar bag which serves as a very effective barrier to light, oxygen, odors, flavors, moisture, and bacteria. The bag can be resealed with any household iron or curling iron.
