Botanical Name - Cassia angustifolia Other Names - Cassia acutifolia, Cassia lanceolata, Cassia senna, Senna acutifolia, Senna angustifolia, East Indian Senna, Egyptian Senna and Alexandrian Senna, True Senna, Bombay Senna, Khartoum Senna, Wild Indian Senna, Tinnevelly Senna. Origin - India Typical Preparations - Usually used as an extract, capsule or tablets. Can be taken as a tea. Cosmetic Usages - Has all properties of henna  except color (also known as  colorless henna). Senna imparts natural highlights of ash blonde or lighter shades to your hair.
