Wood Butter Mold - Rooster

We are always looking for traditional products that were once common household items, but aren't used often today.  These wood butter molds are a great example of way to add a bit of historic, cultural art to your next meal! Our wood butter mold are handcarved from solid wood from the beautiful mountain resort town of Zakopane, Poland.  The tradition of molded butter is still popular in Poland today, and a great way to stay in touch with your ancestry!    The rooster butter mold is a two part design.  The handcarved wood mold creates a three dimensional rooster that will proudly sit on your dish! For the best results, we recommend coating the butter mold with oil and then wipe clean with a cloth.  Place in the freezer for 1-2 hours while the butter softens at room temperature.  Remove the mold from the freezer and press butter into mold.
