Having a dedicated bowl that is beautiful, simple, and sturdy adds a layer of purpose and enjoyment to your tea ceremony. For this piece, Mike Weber used a Japanese Shino glaze to give the chawan its blushing color, which beautifully accentuates the bright green matcha. Our favorite part is the distinctive shapes and markings from the wood-firing, which emphasize the bowl's sculpted qualities.
