Sijichun (meaning "Four Seasons") is a hybrid variety developed by crossing a Chinese Wuyi cultivar and Qing Xin. Low-temperature baking brings out the special milky, creamy flavor of Taiwanese oolong, and this year's vintage is among the finest of the past decade. The challenging drought and heat wave conditions resulted in a concentrated flavor with an exquisite floral essence, filling the room and lingering in the cup after multiple steepings.
