Story I'll Tell

Here's a few thoughts on this piece and the reason behind why I had to paint it: There's not a song out there that gets me like this one. It moves me in the deepest of places. It takes me on a journey each time I listen to it. It makes me want to cry and at the same time it makes me rejoice because it reminds me of His tender care for me in every season of my life. When I hear it I feel like everything inside me is raising my hand saying, "YES! Lord, this is our song! Oh...You, my God, did not fail! That's the story I'll tell." I never tire of telling of His faithfulness because He alone rescued me. His absolute love over a girl that wanted to run... wanted to hide... wondered how she would survive the dark nights--BUT GOD.
