Honduras Pedro Moreno Geisha - Wholesale
A special coffee, from a very special producer. Geisha is a prized variety known for its extremely high cup quality, delicate floral notes, and sweet aroma. Although Geisha plants are difficult to maintain, produce a smaller yield than other varieties, and are more susceptible to disease, the cup profile makes all of that hard work worth the risk. This is the very first Geisha coffee we’ve had at Stovetop, and we are proud to have it come from Pedro Moreno. Pedro, who is now 94 years old, was one of the first coffee producers to grow and sell specialty coffee in the Santa Barbara, Honduras area. There are now over 30 farms in the area under the Moreno family, and we had the opportunity to visit their home in Spring of 2025. A true family operation, their coffees are all picked at peak ripeness and then washed, dried, and sorted on the family estate. This particular cup is true to the geisha legacy, a lovely floral aroma followed by a medley of peach and raspberry sweetness. Region :
