Soviet leadership has determined the only way to remove the threat is to close the Baltic to NATO by capturing southern Sweden.  Soviet forces, supported by Polish Airborne and Marine troops, have landed in two areas: The small southern city of Simrishamn, and the port of Norrköping. The landing at Norrköping has cut off support from the Stockholm area, while the landing at Simrishamn aims to move west and capture the port of Ystad, and eventually, Malmo.  Do not expect help from NATO.
