Aquilegia 'Double Winky Red and White' Plants

Fully double bi-colored blooms of red and white, 'Double Winky Red and White', is a unique cultivar of the species Aquilegia vulgaris.  This columbine has typical dark blue-green columbine foliage that blushes rose shades in cool weather.  A compact grower that can be grown in containers or in the garden border.Mature Plant Size: 16" Tall, 12" Spread  Bloom Time: Late Spring - Early Summer Light Exposure: Partial Shade Soil Type/pH: Well-drained/5.5-7.0  Hardiness Zones: 4-8 Fertilizer:  If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring.  If using a granular fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all-purpose formula in early spring annually.  It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow, and this is not normally needed.Container Size: 4.5" Pot
