Thai Basil Plants

Thai basil is full of anise flavor that compliments numerous Asian dishes.  The anise flavor isn't so over powering, as you might imagine, and the subtle hint of licorice is a nice addition to pesto.  The leaves have a lower moisture content than some basil; which translates to a quick cure time for dried basil.  The bold blooms and purple hued leaves are great for those ornamental borders as well.
