Mortgage Lifter, a popular heirloom that is known for its large fruits.  Developed by Marshal Cletis Boyles in West Virginia during the great depression.  As the story goes Boyles paid off his mortgage within six years with the sales of these tomatoes.  He sold them for a dollar a piece which was a considerable amount of money for a tomato plant at the time.  People drove miles to purchase these larger tomatoes and his business thrived.  This tomato is full of heirloom taste, has small cores, and a meaty red interior.
