Veronica 'Silbersee', is a unique variety that has silvered leaves and true-blue tubular blooms.  A ground hugging selection, 'Silbersee' is great for mass plantings, edging borders, and in rock gardens.  The plants are still very attractive when out of bloom.  They remain evergreen here in Delaware (zone 7) and are loved by butterflies, hummingbirds, and pollinators.  Light Exposure: Full Sun   Soil Type/pH: Well-drained/6.0-7.5Mature Plant Size: 12" Tall, 16" Spread  Bloom Time: May-July Hardiness Zones: 3-8 Fertilizer: If using compost apply an 1" at planting time and side dress annually in late fall or early spring.  If using a granular fertilizer, we recommend organic formulations, apply an all-purpose formula in early spring annually.  It is only recommended to use liquid fertilizers when the growth is slow, and this is not normally needed. Container Size: 4.5" Pot
