Winter's Night Studies - no. 2

These small studies are all about color, shape, and texture of the seasons. The last time I did them I was thinking about fall leaves, but for these minis it was all about the cool tones of winter and the feeling of warmth when you're inside, looking out into an icy night.    This is a framed, original acrylic painting on watercolor paper with a deckled edge. I've also added some small details in pencil and oil pastel, as well as just a touch of gold leaf.  These paintings are just under 4x6" and the frames are made to stand on a table or shelf.  They are signed and titled on the back, as pictured.
