Visible Mending Workshop with Sarah Lee Langford on April 20

Join us for this Visible Mending Workshop with Sarah Lee Langford! Learn to use hand stitching techniques to revitalize and repair your own damaged garment. Cost: $55 ($50 for workshop, $5 materials fee) LOCATION: Studio by the Tracks TIME: 10am-12pm Sarah will bring needles, thread, pins, and a variety of fabrics to use for patching. Participants should bring a damaged item of clothing to repair. If the participant also has fabric to patch with, they should bring that--especially if it has sentimental value. Patch fabrics will be provided as well. Sarah Lee Langford is a songwriter and mother who has taught Handwork at Alabama Waldorf School for fifteen years.
