PLANT APPROPRIATION (wooden backing)

Original art by Mingus Gamble. Each “Tufted Painting” is carefully crafted using traditional techniques by Mingus, resulting in a truly one of a kind piece of art. This piece is installed with a wooden backing and twill taped edges.  This is possibly my favorite tufted painting up to date. I spent a lot of time trying to freestyle shaving the details instead of using a black outline on the clothing wrinkles and claws.  This piece was made with 100% acrylic yarn.  Dimensions: HxW  46”x34.5”
