Beautiful blue vase with clear base made by Iittala and designed by Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985). Design #3581. Made in the late 1950's - early 1960's. Wirkkala was a multitalented design genius, widely considered a leading figure of modern Finnish industrial art. Retains original label. Signed on the bottom (see image). Has what appears to be a scratch on the side (see image). 6-3/8" tall x 2.75" (at opening) 3.5" (@ widest point)
