Large Biomorphic Bruce Cox Salad Bowl and Servers

Circa 1950-1960, an impressively large and smart salad bowl with original salad utensils.Designed and produced by Bruce Fox in aluminum it brings biomorphic sculpture to your kitchen or dining room. The irregularly shaped bowl stands on 3 feet and is approximately 13.5” long by 13” wide. The height is approximately 6” at it’s highest point. The utensils are both approximately 15” long. There is a beautiful “hatched” pattern all over (see photos).  Although you'll find some salad bowls it is rare to find one with it's original utensils.  A beautiful set. Bruce Fox, the artist, founded his company in 1938. Known for his nature-inspired, high-relief designs of leaves, animals, and other organic forms, Fox used aluminum as a fashionable, high-tech material for home décor and giftware. This would make a lovely and unique wedding gift.
