This large and impressive abstract and modernist mixed media painting. Signed in the lower right-hand corner by the artist and dated November 4, 1964.  The back of the canvas has a notation in pencil "Chicago - November 4, 1965"  It also bears to 2 labels from the gallery where the piece was originally sold; Ontario East Gallery and it's original sales price from 1965 - $450.  The piece has shades of yellow, orange, blue, green, white and black outlines.   The artist, Bucky Milam is a master of the arts; an artist, painter, cartoonist and accomplished musician.  His pieces are on display in the Museum of Modern Art, London & Tokyo & Dallas Museums of Fine Art.  He travels widely as a trumpet virtuoso playing in jazz clubs throughout the world. 48" x 60" Frame: 49" x 61"
