1920s Black Silk Chiffon Dress with Steel Beads

The textile of this dress is unmarked, black silk chiffon, with beautiful steel beading. This dress has short, sheer sleeves, a chiffon pompom at the wearer's left shoulder, a drop waist with a rosette at the hip, and a layered skirt. The interior of the dress shows shattering, and there are several holes and spots of discoloration on the front layers of the skirt (see images). There are also faint sports of discoloration on the back of the dress at the hem, in addition to some overall wear to the fabric. Please note the shoulder measurement for this piece, which is quite small, and check it against your own shoulder measurement. There may be loose or missing beads/ sequins that are not noted.
