1990s Escada Couture Purple Velvet Asymmetric Evening Dress

This is a dark purple, velvet dress with satin trim around the collar. Floor length, fitted through the bodice and waist with a slim, pencil skirt. The skirt is fitter toward the ankle, creating a hobble style. There is a slit in the skirt on the sleeveless side, the top of the slit is slightly split from walking, this is very normal in such a slim fitted design. The long sleeve has a heavily sequined cuff, the sequins created a geometric square design with beaded outline. This is a gorgeous piece!
