Geoffrey Beene Dress 1960s Mod Pleated Mini Long Sleeve

An exceptional dress by the brilliant Geoffrey Beene! If you've handled his garments before, you know that the quality of construction is unsurpassed. This beautiful dress is medium weight, best suited for fall or winter wear. The textile is dark navy blue and feels like a wool blend. The belt loops are placed about 1" blow the natural waist, creating a slightly dropped waist look, that's difficult to see in the images. Mini length with long sleeves, button cuffs and a button up front. All buttons are suede covered, the belt is leather. The skirt of the dress is quite full and has inverted pleats on each side.
