XS 1950s Via Veneto Couture Boutique Black Silk Princess Coat Made In Italy

What a coat! This beauty was custom made in Italy by Couture Boutique Via Veneto. This label made some incredible fashions over the decades and it's always a treat to get one of their items! A lighter weight coat that would be good for spring or fall, the textile is very dark navy blue and black silk brocade. Wide, rounded collar, double breasted front, a very fitted waist and full skirt. Fully lined in iridescent pink/taupe. Incredible construction, very high quality, an absolute treat! Condition: Very Good Condition Details: Some slight seam stress at the back of both under arm gussets and at the waist seams. There are some areas of fading on the wearer's right shoulder and sleeve, as well as inside the back of the collar. Skirt has been shortened 2" at some point and currently has a generous 4" hem in both the shell and lining. Overall, this garment is stunning and presents beautifully.
