The Dulhan, or “bride” in Hindi, has a metallic beaded border that frames the face strikingly and a heavily embroidered net body with gold thread work, and magenta, coral, and silver flowers throughout. This headpiece is created with an heirloom saree. It is constructed to have structure and to sit high at the top of the head.
