04-B Molten Strata Variation Gourd Mug - TOP SHELF, 19 oz.

TOP SHELF: beautifully dynamic glazing, stunning composition and a beautifully balanced form. I thought I really messed up on this piece.  Somewhere in there, I forgot that I was glazing over a grey - and not a black - glaze and had no idea how things were going to turn out.  Instead of fixing the 'mistake', I followed my curiosity and WOW did it turn out beautifully. The curvy shape, smooth base and ergonomic handle of this mug make it comfortable to hold in a variety of ways, with a size that allows you to stay cozy for a while and a thickness that offers some comforting weight and keeps your brew warm a bit longer.
