Pronghorn Notebook

We lived outside of Amarillo for several years (do you already hear "Amarillo by Morning" filling your ears?), which means we saw pronghorn on a fairly regular basis. Herds of pronghorn would suddenly appear off in the distance, often grazing but sometimes running as one. This is one of my favorite memories of the area, that and the prairie dogs.
