Knowing that protestors and organizers needed water, food, and supplies to sustain them, founders began crowd-sourcing support. This grassroots effort grew and became what it is today—a social justice movement full of dedicated volunteers encouraging sustainable practices while providing food, household goods, and more to marginalized communities.
