This mixed-media hoop is close to home for us. Mr. Sum Artifex is a pilot and was saying something along the lines of this embroidery hoop at dinner one night. Haha, I didn't believe him and went on a deep dive researching it. I came across a drawing online and have since made this in several iterations. This particular one is on blue cotton, clouds made of needle felting and body of the plane is painted. Brings me a little giggle every time I look at it.
