Quartz w/ Clinochlore, Italy

Quartz w/ Clinochlore Formazza Valley, Verbania Province, Piedmont, Italy Ex. Chris Romberge Collection 5.6 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm Sparkling clinochlore (chlorite group) covers a terminated quartz crystal. The quartz appears to be clean with very little inclusions when held up to a light source. From what I can tell the clinochlore is exclusively external growth on the crystal surface. This piece comes out of the late Chris Roberge collection. Chris passed away in 2017 and had a expansive mineral collection with a focus of unique quartz specimens.
