SSL Server Certificate

SSL Certificates are designed to secure the connection between you and the server you are speaking with. In the simplest terms, these are a set of predetermined passwords that a user can use to verify that the server is who they say they are. Why do I need this ? You most likely need this certificate for a custom app or some external service that doesn't sit on Shopify. In order for Chrome or Safari to through an error,  all elements on a page must be secured. **These certificates must be renewed yearly.
