Cured Sliced Pork Sidemeat (3-Pack)

Our Salt-Cured and Peppered Sliced Pork Sidemeat adds rich, savory flavor to beans, greens, vegetables, or any of your favorite home-cooked dishes. It’s a traditional Southern staple that makes meals hearty and satisfying. Sliced pork sidemeat is cut from the same part of the hog as bacon, but it’s left uncured and unsmoked. That means you get a cleaner, richer pork flavor that really lets the meat speak for itself. Slowly fry over medium heat until the fat softens, the meat turns crisp, and the slices release their flavor. Once cooked, chop or crumble the meat and add it to your dish for a delicious finish.  Includes a set of 3 packages, 8 oz. each.
