Heirloom rocambole (hardneck) type with 5-8 large, easy-to-peel cloves per bulb brought to the Portland, Oregon area before the 1900’s. A Slow Food USA Ark of Taste variety with exceptional flavor - rich yet not too spicy. Great raw, crushed in olive oil with sourdough bread, or roasted! Stores 4-6 months. Sow in fall to harvest the following summer. Requires a cold winter for best results. Garlic cannot be shipped outside of the continental United States (including HI, US territories, or Armed Forces) or to the following states: AK, CA, CO, GA, ID, KS, MT, NV, OR, or WA.
