Manuka Honey with Organic Beeswax and Oatmeal - Handmade Soap This is a classic bar of soapy goodness. Manuka honey and organic beeswax combine to form a bar of pure soap heaven. This golden honey is made when bees pollinate their nectar from the Manuka bush, also known as the "Tea Tree" where it's widely cultivated in New Zealand. We know that honey contains awesome skin loving benefits. After using body products with honey your skin feels extremely soft and supple. I pulverized a good amount of oatmeal so it would be inside the bar. Also I substituted all the water for Aloe Vera. Aloe is extremely soothing to our skin. Look and feel: All soaps are made by hand in small batches with natural ingredients, and like any product made by hand, has color differences and small imperfections. Unlike commercially produced products, color stabilizers are not used in my soaps, resulting in bars that will darken as they age. This is normal for real soap, and won't affect its performance.
