Serpentine Mountain Lion by Herbert Halate

A large cream, gray and prominent lemon lime green colored serpentine mountain lion with turquoise inlaid eyes. Carved by Herbert Halate in his simplified and slightly abstract style, the lion has a lovely offering bundle on top featuring a big turquoise arrowhead and a large long tail brings up the rear. For the Zuni, the lion represents the guardian of the north - he is the master hunter, revered for intelligence, prowess and strength of will.
