Antler Bird, Short Ear Owl by Troy Sice

Our fourth short ear owl carved by Troy Sice - delivered to Sunshine Studio's front porch in June of 2021. The antler owl looks to its left side with gold-lip and pen shell inlaid eyes, has incised lines all around its face and a tear drop shaped dark mother-of-pearl beak. The owl's wings along with the tips of the tail and talons are all burnished - contrasting nicely with the antler coloration. The symbolism of a short-eared owl is a reminder that any task that you embark on, presently, will demand substantial knowledge and preparation - so be prepared. It is common to feel spiritually activated when you see or hear an owl.
