Sandstone Mole by Melvin Sandoval

An elongated, porous, brownish gold and tan colored sandstone mole created by the abstract carver Melvin Sandoval. The mole has its snout pointing towards the earth and there is a fantastic offering bundle strapped to the mole's back with sinew featuring four Sonoran turquoise beads surrounded by melon shell heishi. Moles share a connection with the energies of the earth, have knowledge of herbs, roots, minerals, seeds and rivers, are sensitive to touch and vibration.
