Alunite Mountain Lion by Burt Awelagte

A lime green colored alunite mountain lion with lapis inlaid eyes carved by Burt Awelagte. Burt has added a lovely offering bundle featuring one branch coral bead surrounded by turquoise beads with pen and melon shell heishi. Note: Burt has left some voids on the right back hind leg. For the Zuni, the lion represents the guardian of the north - he is the master hunter, revered for intelligence, prowess and strength of will.
