Crystal Red Shrimp

Crystal Red Shrimp, also known as CRS. These shrimp are sub adults, measuring around half an inch in size. They belong to the Caridina genus and are a captivating black mutation of wild bee shrimp. Many enthusiasts simply refer to them as CRS. These shrimp are an excellent entry point from Neocaridina to Caridina for hobbyists. While they thrive in lower pH conditions, they can tolerate slightly alkaline conditions (pH above 7).Crystal red shrimp are known for their mesmerizing color and pattern. They come in a range of grades from SSS to C, indicating the level of blackness and color solidity. The grading system might be a bit confusing initially, but it essentially goes from almost completely white (SSS) to almost all black (C).
